The Municipal Council of Mbabane places strong emphasis on building and sustaining international partnerships, while promoting people-to-people diplomacy. Through official visits, exchanges, and the hosting of international delegations, the Council continues to strengthen global relationships and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration.

The Council remains committed to fostering mutual understanding with international counterparts and expanding avenues for cooperation, learning, and exchange. To date, the Municipal Council of Mbabane has established formal ties with cities and municipalities in four countries through sister-city and bilateral relationships.
